Eleutheria Binikou

Eleutheria Binikou is a graduate of Psychology of the Nancy 2 University of France. Afterward, she acquired her postgraduate specialty related to the child and the teenager from the University of Savoy in France, where she completed her training. She acquired her professional license from the Prefecture Local Authority of Chios.

Since then, she has attended many conferences of seminars and training, both in Greece and abroad, relevant to her field.

Her clinical and therapeutic interest is focused on supportive Psychotherapy of Social and Emotional Development and on therapeutic approaches through distance rehabilitation, which are applied at the Child and Adolescent’s Center. Moreover, she has taken part in the diagnostic evaluation of children, teenagers, and adults, using a variety of challenges that provide a great number of information for a holistic approach to their personalities. She works mainly as a therapist with children, teenagers, and their parents on a both single and group level. She has been accompanying for many years People with Disability in the Camp Programs of the National Association of Parents and Guardians of People with Disability, through the Chios Association of People with Disability body of implementation. During the last years, she has an intensely social activity and cooperates as a volunteer with the Chios Association of People with Disability, taking part on a regular basis in the activity of the Association, helping in public awareness issues, and fighting against the stigma of being different on a community level.

She is also a member of the Association of Greek Psychologists. Since February 2020, she has been the Scientific Director of the Children and Adolescent’s Department of the Child and Adolescent’s Center.
