The services of the Mobile Mental Health Unit are addressed to the native people of the islands of Chios, Psara and Inusses and to the refugees and migrants who are hosted on them. They include Psychiatric and Children-Psychiatric evaluation and therapeutic recommendation, observation of pharmaceutical treatment, supportive observation, psychological support and development of Social Skills.

The operation of the Mobile Mental Health Unit is supervised by the Ministry of Health and has a license to operate (number of license Y5β/Γ.Π.82961/10.11.2019), provided by the Ministry of Health.
The multidisciplinary group of the Mobile Mental Health Unit (Psychiatrist, Children Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Social Worker, and Nurse, sends regular units every 15 days or once a month, which are suitably designed in order to cover the needs of the district of Chios, including the islands of Psara and Inusses.
All the therapists of the Mobile Mental Health Unit meet the requirements defined by the institutional framework of the country to practice their profession and have all the necessary certified knowledge and expertise to provide their services. The Mobile Mental Health Unit operates in a way which protects privacy and ensures medical confidentiality.
