Completed Programs

In the Child and Adolescent’s Center we seek, claim and make the most of the available funding sources of the programs which are implemented in cooperation with the Greek, European and International institutions. The actions in this department are coordinated by the Fund Searching Department of the Child and Adolescent’s Center. Here are some of the most typical examples which have been approved, implemented or are currently implemented.


 

National Programs

The Mobile Mental Health Unit of Chios

The Mobile Mental Health Unit of Chios through the Child and Adolescent’s body of implementation, in the frameworks of the EP, “Health Care 2000-2006, Action 2.3 “Actions for the provision-enhancement of social solidarity and social-economic reintegration”, co-funded 75% by the European Central Bank and 25% by the National Participation during its first year of operation.

The current program has been implemented since 2007 and its funding is part of the regular budget of the Ministry of Health.

International Programs

Emotional Intelligence for preschool students

“Emotional Intelligence for preschool students”, as a partner of the transnational cooperation of Greece-Turkey, Program of Lifelong Learning 2007-13 (Comenius Region Cooperation), August 2011- July 2013.





 

  

 

  

 

Funding from Institutions / Programs

Active Citizens Fund

The project New Start is implemented in the frameworks of the program Active Citizens Fund, through the implementation body of the Civil Non Profit Organization of the “Child and Adolescent’s Center” through the Special Mental Health Unit “Oselotos.” The duration of the project is 18 months and it involves teenagers and young adults (15-23) with psycho-social difficulties who have developed a declining behavior, or run the risk of committing a punishable action. The aim of this project is to enhance the beneficiaries, through psycho-social support services and career guidance, in order to continue their academic career and also to integrate in the labor market.
