Project description – Beneficiaries – Services

Child and Adolescent’s Center - Diagnosis - Counseling - Rehabilitation (CAC) implements the project entitled Continuation of “Day Center for Adolescents with Autism in Western Attica “In the Courtyard of the World””, with MIS 6003814.

Beneficiaries are twenty (20) people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) of medium & low functionality aged 15 to 30 years - who were selected following an evaluation process and which are provided with the following services:

• Transfer
• Accommodation and meals (snack)
• Program of special treatment operations in need - depending on the needs of each disabled person (occupational therapy, speech therapy, etc.), based on the individualized program of each beneficiary
• Providing individual and / or group exercise
• Training in self-service and learning of daily activities
• Creative employment & socialization activities
• Participation in entertainment, culture and sports programs

The specific objectives of the act implemented by the CAC are:

• Improving the quality of life of people with disabilities who need support services,
• strengthening social cohesion and preventing marginalization and social exclusion, and
• the fight against discrimination and the promotion of equal opportunities.

The above services are provided from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00 and for thirty six (36) months starting on 1/1/2023 (excluding August each year), at the facilities of the Day Center Adolescents with Autism in Western Attica "In the Courtyard of the World" Chrysolora 10-12, Peristeri, 12132, ATTICA.
